The Real (radioactive) Thing.

Activists in India are appealing to the Indian Supreme Court to protect the water rights of the Indian people in several states where Coca Cola plants set up shop. The major issue isn’t necessarily the overuse of water by Coke in those areas—it’s the presence of lead, cadmium, and chromium in the water around the plants.

My question is…what are cadmium, chromium, and lead doing as waste products of a soft drink??
