What is Viva Peace? I’m not quite sure. I know it’s sort of Buddhist, but not, and that some of my friends are involved, and that it has something to do with young people, but really anyone, and it’s about peace, for sure, and about videos. Lots and lots of videos. From Camren Von Davis, one of the founders:

Viva Peace is a video community that helps people to recognize, film and share peace. Amidst all the negative information that we are given (and that we’re giving ourselves), who is showing us something positive, something that inspires us to live? Viva Peace is about doing just that.

Viva Peace asks “How do you live peace?” Users can request a camera from Viva Peace and film their friends’ and family’s response to this simple but profound question.

Here’s the Viva Peace Mission Statement:
“The word peace has been lost – buried beneath the noise and negativity that bombards us everyday; viewed as something we can only wish for. In response, Viva Peace shows that peace is real and happens everyday – all over the world.

How do we do this? It’s simple. When you witness peace we want you to share it on Viva Peace. The more sightings we gather, the greater the power. And if enough people join in, we can reclaim peace by living peace. Viva Peace!”
