I went to high school in Vermont, and lumberjacked there at a Buddhist retreat center for a year after, and visited for years when I lived in Boston. So it’s with a certain amount of pride that I welcomed the news that Vermont had become the first state to legalize gay marriage legislatively, not just through the courts (god bless ’em). Jon Stewart digs out Ben & Jerry’s new flavor, and gets funny widdit.
