The more we learn about the plastic, the more toxic to human life it appears to be. And it never goes away. It spoils our beaches, forms a deep water-logged island bigger than Texas in the upper swirling reaches of the Pacific Ocean, it breaks down and fools fish into eating it. And then we eat the fish, and it messes with our guts.
