Don’t Text and Drive.
As a cyclist, if there’s one thing I see often and fear just as often, it’s drifting left and drifting right drivers, looking down at their phones, a world away.
Yesterday, biking home, I pulled up at a red light alongside a van driven by a publishing friend of mine. I looked to wave hello, but he was busy staring at his lap. The light turned green. He drove on…trending left, drifting right…if I’d been in the bike lane alongside him, I wouldn’t be posting this now:
