I have nothing to add…

…except for my unbridled enthusiasm and love for the elegant simplicity of the techniques employed. Using the natural contours of the earth to harvest water passively, Geoff Lawton and his team have turned 10 acres of barren, salt-rich land in Jordan — 2 km from the Dead Sea — into a thriving permacultural garden.

They laughed and said it couldn’t be done…
