#22 of 108: Ponder the Thistle Burr…and Heal Your Worries
“It is of interest to note that while some dolphins are reported to have learned English—up to fifty words used in correct context—no human being has been reported to have learned dolphinese.”
~ Carl Sagan
When is the last time you considered the notion that there is a natural intelligence that might actually be greater than your own?
You may have seen this amazing list of what we thought were human inventions but actually occurred in nature way before we invented them.
Camera (lens, focus, iris, film) Eye (cornea curves to focus, iris, retina)
Pump Heart
Valves Heart valves
Plumbing and hydraulic systems Circulatory system
Windshield wiper Eye lid
Computer program DNA
Solar panel (energy from light) Leaf
SonarBats dolphins
Velcro Thistle burrs (actually inspired Velcro)
*****
Call it what you will, there is a profound intelligence in nature…obviously, billions of years older than our own technology.
Our true sense of happiness and harmony is a matter of aligning with this natural intelligence and its particular rhythm and flow.
Think of it this way…just like when you were a kid, bouncing around in the back of the car, how could your father possibly drive? At a certain point, we have to fall in line; whether you call it trust or alignment.

So, today, just for today, consider the eyelid and the heart; the leaf and the thistle burr. Today, just for today, sit still, buckle up, and trust your journey.
