There are no coincidences. {Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert}

Economy Improves…liberal conspiracy?

Jack Welch, Donald Trump, a bunch of ideologues over at Fox…they all agree that what they believed last month—that government numbers showed bad news and government numbers are real numbers—isn’t true this month.

Coincidence? Or are they all contradicting Sherlock Holmes’ rule?

“It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.”

“When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.” ~ Sherlock Holmes

In other words: don’t twist the facts to suit one’s prior opinion. Suit one’s opinions to the facts.
