A hip hop poet guaranteed to make you feel good

This is my latest music video for talented local Halifax band, “The Caravan.” The song is called “Words That Make You Feel Good,” and it’s about the positive power and influence of creativity.

MC Kyle McKenna is a super talented poet and his raps are a testament to the possibility of rap as a healing and nurturing art form.

The video has become a hit on the Internet, making it to the front page of Reddit, getting over 150,000 views on YouTube and landing on various blogs and message boards. Based on the ridiculous amount of positive feedback online, it’s clear that many people love it. The band has even been contacted by a few record companies.

Filmmaker, Gesar Mukpo, is the director of documentary film “Tulku” and the son of Chögyam Trungpa. Residing in Halifax Nova Scotia, he makes music videos in his free time.
