elephant journal Parades to Pinterest!

Attention all elephants: elephant journal is launching our debut Pinterest Challenge to be held during the month of July. (yippee!)

Here’s the idea: we want you to create an elephant board in your Pinterest account. You’ll pin images and articles to the board in accordance with our fancy rules (below). At the end of the month, elephant journal will peruse the boards on the quest for inspiration from you!

You in? Perfect.

Here are the deets:

  1. Subscribe to our “Best of Mindful” newsletter here (psssst, it’s free!).

  2. Visit the elephant journal Pinterest page and begin following our boards via the “Follow All” button.

  3. Create a board with the name “elephant journal mindfulness challenge”

  4. Start pinning!

As you know, elephant journal’s mission revolves around mindfulness in all things, so our first board will focus on mindfulness and what it means to you.

We want you to be mindful of mindfulness, if you will.

Here’s what we’d like to see on your board:

  • the elephant journal logo
  • 3 of your favorite elephant articles featured in our “Best of Mindful” newsletter
  • mindful elephant articles in each of the following categories: society, environment, spirituality, love and wellness
  • two quotes about mindfulness
  • an image of a place you associate with mindfulness
  • an image of an activity you feel most present/mindful doing
  • a piece of artwork you might title “mindfulness”
  • an image that includes a mindful creature (non-human, please)
  • an image of a mindful topic you’d like to see written about on elephant journal

Remember: the articles and images you select should define what mindfulness means to you. There’s no right, no wrong.

Get inspired and create!

You can include as many articles and images as you’d like, but we want to see what’s on the list at the very least.

At the end of the month, we’ll feature some of our favorite pinners’ pins on our Pinterest and Facebook pages!

Happy Pinning,

the elephant team
