Don’t Ever Let Nobody Drag Your Spirit Down. ~ Sherri Rosen

The song “Don’t Never Let Nobody Drag Your Spirit Down” was my muse today.

When I heard it I said “yes, I’ve made my decisions, I know what I want, and I am going to get what I want and let no one drag me down. Yeah, baby!”

I was having personal doubts this afternoon: Did I do right? Maybe I should have done this, or maybe I should have done that. And then I heard this song and I knew I was doing the right thing. I am on my path and I am not going to allow anyone or anything to take me off my path. I may fall down, but sooner or later I will pick myself up and start all over again on my path.

My path may not be your path, we may meet along the way, maybe become friends for a long time or a short time, but whatever the meeting was it was meant to be and there are lessons to be learned by everyone who comes into our lives.

Even if we are tempted or we drift off of our path.

It’s having faith in ourselves that really matters. It’s faith that I know what I am doing and I know what I want and I am not going to settle for second best.

And, it’s being honest with ourselves and others that come into our lives. Some may so appreciate the honesty and others may say “bye bye.”

Too often in the past I have listened to other people’s opinions about what i wanted and it confused me even more and maybe made me lose confidence in myself and perhaps sit on the fence, make a big mistake by listening to others and not listening to my intuition.

I used to not pay attention to my intuition and that was a big mistake. My intuition leads me in the right direction even if I am fighting and screaming that it is the right thing to do.

Because sometimes I don’t like the right thing to do, but I have gotten bitten in the ass too many times by not listening to my intuition.

If you are feeling down, insecure, losing confidence, listen to this song and don’t never let nobody drag your spirit down.
