Garbage Doesn’t Lie. {Video}

We don’t need to waste any energy making time capsules.

Apparently, if we want future generations to know what we’re like, then all we need to do is continue making garbage.

Currently, garbage tells archaeologists quite a lot about past cultures—like what they hunted and ate and that Romans used a lot of Spanish and Egyptian olive oil.

And the garbage that we’re creating right now tells a lot about how we’re living too, and it will tell anyone else rummaging through our garbage in years to come what we were like—maybe a little more than you’re comfortable with.
