The Beauty of Timing.

Timing is such an interest concept that everyone views through a different lens.

If I look back on my life through the perspective of timing, I could see it as a compilation of events that have been a result of good or bad timing.

Often enough, when we experience a trauma, or have a troubling experience, we can see it as ‘bad timing’ and when things work in our favor, the timing is on our side. I imagine that in general, people aren’t of the awareness that timing of events could be in fact the sole avenue of our life path.

It isn’t considered to be all part of our course and an opportunity for learning and growth.

This past year in particular has been one of the most formative, difficult, inspiring, learning and important of my life. I review the events that transpired, the consistent struggles, the daily self motivations, the beautiful lessons and come to the realization that I am grateful for the woman it has molded me into.

There were countless times when I felt like I was being tested by the world, asking myself how I could continue to be placed in situations that left me feeling like I was a victim to the world’s ruthless power.

A perspective I have to come to adopt as of recent and strive to continue harnessing and fine tuning is the notion of taking those experiences in life, the ones that stretch me, and not equate them with timing.

Instead of being the recipient of good or back luck, I will look to seeing them as another experience to learn and grow from.

By doing so, it allows opportunity for empowerment and strength, and eliminates the feeling of being a victim in a feared world.

It also allows individuals to shift thinking from you-centric and let’s you be out in the world living.
