It’s easy to feel we’re different than the people of the past.

They all look so different—our thoughts can’t be the same. it’s a different world, isn’t it? Different issues, beliefs and world views.

I am my own person, with different needs and expressions.

Or I thought I was. Until now.

The new trend in realistically colorizing old photos is making connections to the past possible. All the faces and bodies look so approachable, so modern. With modern tastes the different clothes just make them look like hipsters, except Einstein with his high waisted shorts—he just looks like a fashionista.

Now it’s easier than ever for the past to reach out and touch you.
