Trust: Invisible Hands that We Stretch Out Into the World.

Wanderlust

In 2013, I wrote about an elusive construct individuals both yearn for and yet fear:  The Sacred Space: 4 Reasons to Embrace Vulnerability.

Vulnerability is a beautifully enriching experience for a plethora of reasons, some of which are highlighted in the above article. However, creating and embodying it while simultaneously letting go of inter-woven patterns and marketed ideals can be extremely daunting due to its fundamental requirement: Trust.

Everyone has dealt with this puzzling word. We spend our entire lives managing trust because it is deeply embedded and required constantly in every, single relationship—business, personal, spiritual and religious.

This video captures the essence of trust and the reasons why, like vulnerability, its yearning and its simultaneous fear leaves us in a web of confusion. And yet, when we embody it, its beauty and simplicity surpasses every notion running through our head.

“…it affords us a luxury that allows us to stop thinking, to stop worrying that someone won’t catch us if we fall, to stop constantly scanning for inconsistencies…it allows us to relax a part of our minds, that we can focus on what’s in front of us…”

Who’s in your circle of trust? Keep it alive.
