This kind of video, following one aspect of culture through time, seems to be becoming a trend. And it might just be the history nerd in me, but I love it.

For today’s special, the girls SketchSHE are taking us on a singing road trip through time.

Starting back in the 40s and continuing until the present day, the three girls sit in their car and give their own costumed lip-synch and dance tribute to some of the most popular songs in our country’s history.

It’s fun, it’s nostalgic, it’s creative and I think there’s many of us out there who have memories of singing along to our favorite songs with a group of like-minded friends. And that’s true of every generation, it’s something that links us and binds us together as humans throughout time. Just another awesome thing this video makes us remember.
