I have a new vision for yoga.

I want to make the top yoga instructors accessible to everyone around the globe. I want to support their teachings and share the powerful and transformational effects of yoga with as many as possible.

I believe yoga should be accessible to all, regardless of age, financial capabilities or level of practitioner.

Yoga has transformed my life in ways that I never imagined. It has been an irreplaceable tool and practice to overcoming my fears and anxiety, finding deep self love and acceptance and supporting my lifelong path to help others find their true purpose. The power of this practice is one that I want everyone to experience from and thrive.

So, what if you could attend the largest online conference with thousands of yogis around the world with the most celebrated and inspiring teachers of our time, including Seane Corn, Sharon Gannon, Kathryn Budig, Baron Baptiste, Elena Brower and more in the comfort of your own home. Watch rare 30-minute interviews and unique 30-minute classes with your favorite teachers that you won’t see anywhere else? And after the four-day online event comes to a close, you will still be able to access all the classes and interviews for years to come all for $39—just a little more than a yoga class!

I have a vision for democratizing yoga—Yoga is for everyone, yet between costly class fees and the often out-of-reach yoga festivals and retreat destinations, many are unable to have a consistent practice or yoga experience.

As the documentary filmmaker of YOGA IS A Transformational JourneyI went on a journey after one of the most difficult challenges of my life—loosing my 57 year-old mother to cancer. This loss, and the anxiety that accompanied it, led me on an even deeper journey into my yoga practice. I discovered that yoga is a practice and foundation that everyone can use to move through the obstacles in life. After 20 years I can honestly say that my life would not be what it is today without yoga. I feel so fortunate that I have had access to wisdom and teachings from the most inspiring and celebrated yogis of our time, and want the same for millions of others on their path.

After the film’s release I received thousands of emails from people around the world expressing how the film had transformed their lives. That is where the idea for the YOGA IS Gather Transform and Thrive Conference was born. People were asking for guidance in their own journey with yoga. They wanted more access to teachers, teachings and classes from teachers they experienced in the film. Their stories were the inspiration to create this incredible conference.

I want everyone to have access to these great practices and have the skills to overcome their own challenges and pressures of life. So I decided to make something available to all, and now with the power of technology, Yogis around the world can gather for this epic conference.

So I hope you can Join us April 30th to May 3rd, 2015, for the YOGA IS Online Conference. As together we will Gather, Transform and Thrive.

Patanjali described the point of the yoga path as “stilling the waves of the mind”—not as a vaguely spiritual aerobics. The Buddha practiced various yogas for six years before finally surrendering to the hardest, simplest practice of them all: meditation practice. Today—with yoga more accessible and popular than at any time in history—most of us are too speedy for savasana and too few teachers focus on breath and alignment, let alone intention.
