“If America ever passes out as a great nation, we ought to put on our tombstone ‘America dies of the delusion that she had moral leadership'” ~ Will Rogers
I love that in our nation, we get to decide what to think and believe.
I do not think anyone has to agree with me or see things my way. My only wish is to provide valid information—not propaganda—and let us all decide for ourselves what is best for us at this time.
Socialism: “A political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.”
Democratic socialism: “A political ideology advocating a democratic political system alongside a socialist economic system, involving a combination of political democracy with social ownership of the means of production.”
In other words, democracy prevails, alongside a “people before profit” ideology where we benefit from our hard work and taxes.
Republican: “Of, relating to, or constituting the one of the two major political parties evolving in the United States in the mid-19th century that is usually primarily associated with business, financial, and some agricultural interests and is held to favor a restricted governmental role in economic life.”
In other words, interests of big business before the people.
We must think.
Get the facts. Decide for yourself.
Why Bernie Sanders? He’s Independent.
Not Republican. Not Democrat.
What we have isn’t working.
Right now, the only party I see happy is corporate America.
Let us try putting the people first and see what happens.
Isn’t it time we demand moral leadership and people before profit?
