Create more, and consume less is my mantra.
I grew up with that whole back-to-the-land way of living, and yet I still love the simplicity of gift-giving. It feels fantastic to give a gift, especially when a smile fills up another’s face upon receiving it.
We all know that wrapping gifts can be the single most consumptive part of the holidays, but here’s an alternative way.
Why not use those brown bags from the store?
Reuse them, and decorate them with natural objects like olive branches, cork oak acorns and mistletoe to create a lovely wrapping.
