The Misuse of Power & the Rise of the Divine Masculine at Standing Rock.

A true warrior is anchored in his heart.

Each time I have seen a video from Standing Rock and what’s currently happening there I get head to toe shivers and goosebumps.

The footage is horrifying, seeing militarized actions being taken on peaceful protesters that are standing for the protection of water and life.

It’s hard to believe that this is happening right now in 2016. This is not the 1800s and not even the 1900s. It’s 2016 and still this is happening. With the times we are living in now, we have the power of technology and media to share these events with the world and to document the atrocities that take place. Whereas before, there were no cameras to record the events and we had to rely on what certain people decided to have written in history books.

I was inspired this morning to see a video of a veteran on national news announcing that over 2,000 veterans made their way to Standing Rock to serve, protect and support the people after so much violence and human right violations.

He said on national television, “I believe I have the responsibility to go there and protect those people who are being constantly attacked…and the question is not just why we veterans are going there, but why are we all not going there as people?”

They created a human shield around the people of Standing Rock to protect them from the attacks of the military.

What is so beautiful to see is how something so dark can bring so much light at the same time. Through this situation, thousands of people are coming together in unity to stand for the protection of what is sacred. Division and separation is dissolving and human beings are uniting together to protect life.

To rewrite history, and future timelines.

Throughout history, we have seen many who have misused power.

I believe that is why many of us have become afraid of being powerful, both for the abuse of power by those in authority and the consequences of being under the influence of this distorted power. What I start to recognize is that because of this relationship with “power,” many of us have become like sheep instead of being lions.

Perhaps in different incarnations we experienced cruelty, torture and violence from those in power. Then what I see in my lifetime is how many either suppress their power and play small to be “safe,” or never come into their own power again because of the repercussions of abusing power in other timelines.

I feel this is especially relevant for men and my brothers.

To remember that it’s possible to be powerful and also heart-centered. We all need to remember that being powerful and acting from power can be a force of good in the world.

We need powerful men who embody the healthy essential masculine. When I use the word “warrior” I don’t mean a blood thirsty and angry man seeking to kill.

I mean the true meaning of the word warrior:

A man who’s committed to serving and protecting all of life.
All who are true, beautiful and sacred.
A man who stands for truth.
A man who is here to anchor the light.
A man who is here to serve love.

A man who is rooted in his soul, wisdom and essential strength…and does not let fear stop him from fiercely standing for life. The protection of the Divine Mother, planet Earth, Mama Gaia…all women, children, plants and animals.

A true warrior is anchored in his heart.

I believe that force can be healthy, like a penetrating sword of light—when it is in service to life, and honoring of all life.

The time for being “sheep” is over.
We all have a voice, and it needs to be used to speak truth.
We cannot stay trapped in silence because of fear.
We don’t have the luxury anymore.
Not with what’s happening now on the Earth at this critical juncture.

Fierceness is needed. It’s the antidote to complacency.

“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people, but the silence over that by the good people.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

I bow to all the warriors on this Earth—all of my brothers who use their strength and power in service to life, love and truth. Thank you for being so courageous. And the Sacred Feminine says with tears in her eyes,”thank you.”

It’s time to rise.
