Chakra Chants to Balance our Energy Centers.

“Now is the time to develop trust in our basic goodness and the basic goodness of our sisters and brothers on this earth; a time to develop confidence in our ability to drop our old ways of staying stuck and to choose wisely. We could do that right here and right now.” ~ Pema Chödrön

Now more than ever, the world needs each one of us to shine.

To be beacons of love, light, peace and clarity. To let our natural intelligence and warmth come through.

The fifth chakra, vishuddha in Sanskrit, is “the pure place.” Its element is akasha, meaning either limitless space or sky. Its color is sky blue or turquoise.

This center has everything to do with communication: how we express our ideas and feelings; how we use our words; our tone of voice; our language (verbal and body). Mindful speech is the practice of this chakra: bringing greater awareness to the power of our words, and choosing to speak only when what we have to say is true, honest, intelligent, necessary and kind.

According to Chakra Meditation by Swami Sarananda, the essential oils of chamomile, eucalyptus, sandalwood, tea tree and peppermint support throat chakra work, as do turquoise, amber, aquamarine, amazonite, lapis lazuli and amethyst when worn or placed on your meditation altar.

Chanting and singing are also a powerful and fun way to activate the throat chakra, and to heal, align and balance all of our energy centers.

Chant the following sounds and feel how they resonate with your seven main chakra energy centers.
