“It’s almost as good as the mariachi band playing for the Manhattan racist lawyer.” This is how we respond to racism. With wakeful, joyful, unrelenting solidarity and coming-together. On Reddit, re the teepee: “As a native American, my culture is DEFINITELY your goddamn barbecue.”

The Best responses to H&M’s “Racist” Advert from the Weeknd, Diddy & LeBron James.

The latest H&M advert has got powerful black men (and pretty much everyone on social media) angry—and for a reason.

In the advert, a young black boy is wearing a green hoodie with the caption “Coolest monkey in the jungle.”

Seriously, H&M? In 2018? I can’t believe how things like this slip through.

The Weeknd, who has done big campaigns with the company, announced on his Twitter post today that he won’t work with H&M again. The tweet has been shared over 100,000 times.

The clothing retailer responded to the accusations:

“We’re deeply sorry that the picture was taken, and we also regret the actual print.

“Therefore, we’ve not only removed the image from our channels, but also the garment from our offering.”

If you ask me, the damage is already done.

Here are the best responses, including Diddy, LeBron James, and more:
