Is Your Subconscious Mind in Love With You?

I  daydream about my passions, I ponder creative ideas that would enhance my lifestyle. In-fact I have zillions of imaginary designs that I would like to try, that is before I look at the bigger picture. Crashing waves of questions followed by what I propose are rational answers bombard me within seconds. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am hard on myself. My active mind questions if I can complete the task, conjuring fear-based reasons on why I can not and should not act upon my dreams and desires.

As I drift asleep, I consciously think and create my “to do list”; I must exercise, change my hair color, eat better, manage my money better. The swirling begins, as my conscious mind eventually falls asleep. My subconscious mind navigates while multitasking routine activities and managing the ascending nagging emotions which constantly resurface. How can I calm these nagging thoughts and seduce my subconscious mind to love me again?

We contemplate the same themes of thought every day! Writing and verbalizing goals are extremely important, especially when we are thinking about similar topics throughout the day. Why do nagging negative, yet seemingly rational thoughts keep occurring? I contemplate what these bizarre, inferior thoughts rippling through my mind do to my physical body, especially as they become entrenched in my daily routine.

Did you know your subconscious mind is always working? That’s right every night when we sleep our subconscious mind is processing and storing information-keeping us safe. While the conscious mind focuses on 90 percent of the same thoughts as the day before. The subconscious mind is essentially driving the body, controlling body, organs, cell growth, and keeping us safe. If we are not treating ourselves with love and compassion, our subconscious needs to spend more time navigating us through the negative thoughts.

Psychologists assert the mind has defenses against emotional shock. This ego defense mechanism is managed by the subconscious mind. There is a belief that the mind can be re-programed to assist in managing thoughts, with various techniques. Written plans and affirmations combined with mindfulness and intention can remove negative, nagging, inferior thoughts.

How do our bodies feel when we keep dwelling on negative aspects of our life?

Meridians flow through the body, energy vibrates through our tissues embracing our spiritual, mental and physical self. The energy may become hindered or blocked after on-going stress events or concentration of negative feelings. The chakras become inactive, leaving our physical body feeling tired and lifeless. Our bodies need to rest, this means meditation, encouraging the mind to focus on relaxing.

There are universal philosophies that humans elect to mistreat themselves because they feel they are unworthy-this may be planted deep within the subconscious mind. Unworthy feelings may radiate and fester from a variety of sources. Our subconscious mind functions twenty-four seven, even while we sleep, processing this information.

Rejuvenation starts when we stop the “monkey mind” from chattering. Sounds easy right? We will be on our way to preventing the negative energy from reeking havoc on our physical body once we take the first step in. training our subconscious mind to process positive information- this requires consciously concentrating on positive thoughts.

Solutions

Partaking in activities that help us relax can initiate mindful thoughts. Guitar, dancing yoga, chakra cleanses, Reiki, massage are helpful in removing blocks to positive thoughts, encouraging positive energy to flow through our body. Transforming our minds-moving away from feelings of anger, inferiority, fear to sensations of compassion and love. Sounds easy to embrace a positive outlook, and remove negativity, but it is not! Changing our subconscious and conscious thoughts takes courage, motivation and a lot of conscious effort.

Mediation is so important! I love affirmation cards in my yoga classes, I often think the message written on the card was intended for me. One of my favorite yoga instructors loves Louise Hay Affirmation Cards. I had never heard of her, so took time to familiarize myself with her background, and found she had positive results with healing when empowered by positive thoughts. Fascinating our minds are so powerful.

It is vital to think positive thoughts if one wants to feel vibrant and alive. The sensation of tiredness is rejuvenated from within our core, induced by mediation, positive thought and restful activities. We can seduce our subconscious mind to love us again by re-enforcing the conscious mind with mindful positive thoughts.
