Unicorns rising from the depths of despair
My soul twist and turns to know that you are there
Over this time of grief I have finally found
the wondrous golden thread that keeps us bound
it goes beyond this earthly plane
It is darned from yesterday, tomorrow and in between,
the place of now, betwixt the sun and moon, the stars and sky
That’s when I can hear your voice whisper to me,
beautifully,
Still holding me up when I fall down ,
still keeping me from right and wrong
Then I can feel your hand wiping my tears
And your precious embrace gently squeezing away my fears
I can see your smile, magically pouring your love in one glance
But only this blessing can I have when I remember it’s not chance
If I am still, i am quiet and I listen
If I just be
I clearly hear you tell me you love me
I love you too mum, for all eternity
