I wish things were back to how they were before. {Poem}

I wish things were back to how they were before

I can’t cope with being trapped inside any more

It feels like the walls are swiftly closing in

And everything that you do is basically a sin

The way life is now is all work and no play

It just seems to get harder day after day

I can’t wait for the moment when Boris will say

That it’s finally the end of life being this way

Our phones are the devil – never out of hand

All negativity on social media should be banned

I sit on my phone all day till I’ve got square eyes

And let’s not forget the weight I’ve gained to my thighs

“It’s a pandemic…” they say “…so be kind to yourself”

But it’s easier said than done when it comes to your health

Especially the mental kind, mines gone down the drain

I can’t wait for a time when I don’t feel insane

It feels insignificant when so many people feel the same

And letting yourself be affected feels kind of lame

But asking for help will make you feel stronger

You don’t have to do it alone any longer!
