The Aftershock of the Halftime Show: Candace Owens Off-Script, Grandma figuring out a QR-Code & Everyone wants an Electric Car.

Almost as entertaining as the halftime show itself: the reactions on social media.

When the NFL announced that Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem would perform at this year’s halftime show, I was getting my popcorn ready.

Not because of the show itself. I am talking about social media.

Many folks were hoping for Eminem to take a knee in combination with Dre’s famous line, “Still not loving the police.”

And the two legends did not disappoint. They created an iconic image (that could easily become an NFT worth millions of dollars).

Speaking of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and crypto, how do you feel about all these ads?

It’s safe to say that Coinbase won the simplicity award for their commercial that was basically just a QR-code. Unfortunately, they seemed to have some issues with their app shortly after the millions of potential new investors tried to set up their accounts.

But that wasn’t the only technical difficulty. What happened with the playback at the beginning of the halftime show?

But besides the advertisements, an entertaining game, and a killer halftime show, I was looking forward to Conservatives reacting to all of this.

So, apparently, Charlie Kirk was not happy because he felt the show was a bit too sexy. Not sure how his friend and colleague Matt Gaetz feels about this statement.

But he was not alone. Kirk got some unexpected support from our favorite mindfulness community.

We have never been that close to Charlie’s message, but I am sure not for the same reasons.

And this brings me to my personal shocker of the evening: I agreed with Candace Owens. Wow! If you’d asked me what I don’t expect to happen in 2022, this would have been my answer. But here we are:

I almost dropped my vegan wings when I saw her tweet. I can’t wait to see other Conservatives reacting to this. But maybe, they won’t have any time to start a sh*tstorm because they are busy ordering electric cars? Let’s hope so.

I am still undecided on how to digest this evening full of entertainment, powerful messages, and advertisements for unknown products and QR-codes.

Maybe you can help? What’s your take on this year’s Super Bowl and everything surrounding it? Please share your mindful perspective here.

But before you do that, don’t forget to check out Waylon’s take:

May it be of benefit.
