Time to Move On: Embracing a New Chapter

It’s true, there comes a moment when we must gather our strength and move past the unexpected end of what we once believed was our forever story. We can delve deep into coaching videos and various online resources, and sometimes, we might need to seek professional help beyond our friends and family to navigate through these tough times. Yet, the stark truth is that not everyone can simply switch off their emotions – a nod to ‘Vampire Diaries’ for that analogy. The key realization we need to reach is that it’s over, and the path to this understanding begins when we decide to stop rehashing the past and, frankly, let it go. This isn’t to say we should suppress our feelings; it’s important to share them. But there’s a fine line we must draw, recognizing that dwelling on the past can hinder our personal growth.

Now, it’s time to focus on yourself and the new journey your life is taking, a path you’ve been forging throughout this recovery process. Strive for a life filled with high vibrations and positive energy, surrounded by people who uplift and complement your life. Low vibrations are no longer acceptable. Yes, the events happened, things didn’t work out, and the spiritual bond was severed, leading to some collateral damage like lost friendships and seeing a side of your former partner you never knew. But let’s be clear and straightforward – it’s over.

Lift yourself up. It’s okay to have a period of sadness, be it a day, a week, or even a couple of months. However, it’s crucial to reject any notion that this negative experience is your final stop. Believe that there’s something or someone out there far better for you than your current situation. Don’t worry about external influences anymore; their lives are separate from yours now. Learn to love yourself and, most importantly, recognize your worth. There’s no magic solution, no ‘silver bullet’ for these situations, but it’s essential to do whatever it takes to safeguard your inner peace, as you’re the only one in control of it.

Changing your mindset isn’t easy, but the first step is being open to the idea of change. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter – your day one of week one. It’s time to stop dwelling on the past and, with all sincerity, let it go.
