Jessica Lathrop is a strategic business analyst and was named UMGC’s International Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019. When she’s not working, she’s usually making some sort of mess with her five kids, traveling to a quaint nearby city, or enjoying a glass of (relatively inexpensive) red wine. After convincing her family to move overseas (although none of them spoke the local language), Jessica decided to take another big risk and become a freelance writer. And although she has a Master’s Degree in Ancient and Classical History, they are almost never useful towards her entrepreneurial endeavors. Nevertheless, Jessica and her lovable St. Bernard, Penny, are often found writing, helping small businesses with her brilliant husband, and enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine.
