Jaclyn Lanae is just a midwest girl living her fourth life in the third world.
There is a wisdom that comes in facing death. I was blessed to have that kind of experience for the first time at 25. And again at 26. And again at 27. I took it as a sign that I needed to make a change. A big one. Fifteen years later I completely abandoned the life I was told I should want, to pursue a life of joy in Colombia, South America. I live differently, in every sense of the phrase, and relish the opportunity to share my experiences and perspectives with any for whom it might be useful.
