Malaika Joy Baxter is a lover of solitude, self work, and social justice. She spends most of her time with family, which has become enormous since adoption reunions with both of her first parents. A vegan. A feminist. A foster cat mom. An unabashed reader of young adult fiction. And founding member of the non-profit organization TUSKA. Malaika likes to balance her more serious and deeply feeling side with enthusiastic play, like tree climbing and spontaneous kitchen dancing.
