A Tender Truth about Grief I Learned from my Father’s Death.
Meghana Hegdekar is a 24-year-old author who believes deeply in the healing and transformational power of storytelling.
The 20s are profoundly formative, life-changing years, with so many pivotal moments, lessons and choices.
After losing her father, whom at the time, she did not realise was, and would continue to be, her life’s most valuable teacher, she became acutely aware of the fleeting time that we have on this planet.
Since then, she has silently embarked on a deep inward journey to make sense of what it is that matters in this life; the things that connect us; the simultaneous complexity and simplicity of our collective experiences.
She has learned how listening to one another’s stories—our uniquely lived experiences of the world—can enrich us with the wisdom and courage to step into who we truly are underneath all of the masks.
She hopes to be a vessel through which our stories can be told and the universal threads of our humanity—friendship, love, loss, ego, belonging, shame, vulnerability, connection, grief, longing—can be explored.
