Sasha Feiler is the only funny person to ever come out of Siberia, but you’ll have to take her word for it since Siberia is the last place you’d want to visit.

Determined to leave this cold, bleak tundra, Sasha planned her escape, fleeing to New York at 19, trading endless winters and oversized felt boots for occasionally sleeping on the F train. A series of odd cash jobs, including sandwich board sign holder and exotic dancer, gave her plenty of unique experiences to write about.

After graduating from Brooklyn College on a full Presidential Scholarship with an MFA in Television Production, Sasha worked as an Editor and Producer at CNN, where she had the privilege of making Barack Obama look really good on the campaign trail. After he became President, Sasha celebrated—and, convinced she had accomplished all she could in news, headed to Hollywood.

Over the last years, Sasha has performed and written on improv and sketch teams at UCB, iO West, and Second City and was a writer on Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. She teaches TV Writing at Script Anatomy and hosts a comedy podcast Shut Up I Love It. These days, she rarely visits Siberia, using the lame excuse of “Once it’s below 72 degrees, I’m dead.”
