Sophia Sommer, a Puerto Rican homeschooling mom of four kids, has a lot to say. Her life experiences have given her a unique voice. From growing up in poverty and overcoming trauma and sexual abuse as a child and adolescence, to becoming an adult and facing trials and tribulations she never expected, she wants to share her stories with you! She knows there are people out there like her who are bereaved mothers. She lost her son in 2004. There are those who are living with devastating disease like her; she has eosinophilic esophagitis and Hashimotos and everyday life for Sophia is a constant and unrelenting battle. She raised a beautiful and incredible young man with Aspergers who has taught her so much about life and has made her a better human. She has another child who survived a near drowning and navigating his healing process has been a journey she longs to share as well. There is such a river beneath that wants to break forth and spill these stories and beautiful lessons she’s learned. Sophia hopes she can write them in such a way that keeps you all interested and touched and inspired to both evolve and write.
