Co-op Coop.

Why Urban Chickens?

Have you named your backyard chickens?

As seen at Masala Co-op, in Boulder, Colorado, which I walk or bike by every day. The chickens have a nice big coop, and look really happy, particularly at first, when they think I’m coming to feed them.

Masala is a vegetarian co-op on the University Hill in Boulder, Colorado.

The Masala co-op is dedicated to providing our residents with quality locally grown organic food whenever possible. Masala buys its food from the Boulder Co-op Market and has a share in the Monroe organic farm. Masala has house meal Monday through Thursday at 7pm and on Sunday we have brunch at noon. All house meals are vegetarian.

When I first moved in to my home, that my bank was nice enough to buy for me, someone at the Co-op brought over a raw yummy pie.
