Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. Buddha
People want to be happy, to have peace. This is a truth few would dispute, yet most struggle with. I have worn the hat of many characters in this one life. I can attest to the human need for validation, love, nurturing. We are not a species to be isolated in our knowingness. Or are we?
Quantum physics backs up the ancient knowings of energy, that we are all energetically connected. If we look at ourselves as separate, we will eventually find in this life or another that we are not. However, as we look at ourselves as connected, we may become overwhelmed by the vastness of what this means.
What does it mean that as energetic beings we are connected? It means we pick up on the energy of our surroundings. If we shut down and shut off, through addictions, depression, etc., than we become disconnected. If we have narcissistic or psychopathic tendencies, we also will not connect truly to the energy of those around us. But, if we are empathetic or somewhat open, we will. We will feel the energy of the masses.
I was at a dinner party recently and listened as the group communed in what they had accomplished and then discussed the ills of the day. It is the human way. Or is it?
We are effected by our upbringings, our peers, our communities, the media, our parents. We are effected by our environment. Beyond the mind, into our subconscious. Beyond our ego, into our energy field.
As an analogy: If you look at the human body with an average of 37.2 trillion cells, you will see that the cells work together to thrive and keep the body alive. Now imagine that like the cells that make up a human body, each human body represents one cell. There are about 7.7 billion people currently on the planet. That is a much smaller number than the cells in your body. The cells in the body have to work together to keep the body alive. The humans on the planet need to work together for the race to thrive. The cells in the body affect each other. Humans also affect each other.
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. Mother Teresa
Once it is understood that you in fact are not separate, things make a bit more sense. However, looking at how we are connected to all, some things don’t add up.
For example: Why do we still fight wars? Logically it is barbaric. Why would we want to kill another energetic being that we are in some way connected to? In other words, why would we want to kill ourselves?
Or, why do some on the planet have so much and are looking for more, while others are starving to death?
Much of this disparity is destined for you by your family and place of birth. If you happen to be born in the United States, you have a much better chance to be living well compared to someone who happened to be born in Syria. So, why are we not working together to become more unified and share with each other? Why would we let another energetic being that we are in some way connected to starve to death? In other words, why would we want to starve ourselves?
When you start exploring the bigger connection of all, it can feel overwhelming. The task at hand may seem too big. How can you stop world hunger or global war? I mean seriously, that is a huge undertaking. If Buddha, Jesus, Mother Theresa did not accomplish it, how can you possibly accomplish this?
How can you be happy knowing all this? Happiness, how does this tie in?
Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. Buddha
Happiness is an inside job. Remember the cells in the body that work together to keep you alive? We also have our energy that plays into our health and wellbeing. Turning within and clearing out our personal baggage of energetic junk will help bring us happiness, and it also will have an effect on the outside world. So within, so without.
So, back to being around other people. It may help as you transition to your true state of joy and happiness to make time for yourself. As we pick up on the energy in our surroundings, it does help to spend time alone. Most can’t go off and meditate for months on a mountain. But, you can make time to meditate each day, to walk in nature and connect to it, to sing and dance and bring yourself to a place of internal joy. You can utilize energy healing as well to clear the blocks and junk that has been accumulated in your body and energy bodies from this life, your family line, the collective consciousness, etc.
Once you find your way to that peace that is internal, you will find you look and need the validation of the outside world less and less. Things won’t bring you happiness, but you will be joyful in the things you have. You will be at peace in your being. People won’t bring you happiness, but you will enjoy being with them.
As you find your internal happiness, it will spread to your external reality. This is bound to happen. You will likely find on the way that the external world will bring you accelerated challenges and dramas as you find your way within. The external is fighting to keep you there, to keep things as they were so to say.
The less you pay mind to those external challenges and dramas, the less they will show themselves. Because when they do show themselves, you smile lovingly and move forward in your own happiness. What once made you unhappy has no power over you. You see, you are happy and you are connected to all and you hold the power, the key to happiness.
If we look at Buddha and Jesus and Mother Theresa and all the teachers, this is the way they spoke of. So within, so without.
