Oh Man

You claim to be a spiritual warrior

Lay in her bed

Talking about your reverence for the Most High

But can’t respond when SHE calls from down low

You want her to spread her legs

But are you willing to close the cavernous gap between your words and your actions

Or are you fearful that with love comes actual responsibility

And that things like care, communication, and commitment  may curtail your illusory freedom

I guess you thought your “wokeness” alone entitled you access to the portal that exists between her legs

Funny how you want to enter the land of milk and honey

Yet you fail over and over again to tend to the eternal garden of her HEART

Oh Man

It’s not all your fault

Women have to start raising the bar

Not cause we need to be “virginal & pure”

As if the expression of sacred sensual nature made us whores

But because we were created with immaculate hearts

That man’s greatest duty on Earth is to protect

Oh Man

Women have to start raising the bar

Not cause women are better than men

Not cause matriarchy would be any better than patriarchy

but because we actually NEED each other

I know that’s not something strong independent women are taught to admit

But it’s true

And it’s not just us who you need you

It’s  children 7  generations from now that need YOU too

And I mean the real you,

The eternal you

The you that exists underneath the mask of masculinity

And all the bravado of your bars

Because a real spiritual warrior can face the music

When love shines a light on his shadow

Oh Man

Are you picking up what I”m puting down?

Are you willing to sacrifice your ego on the altar of Holy Wisdom?

Are you willing to die a thousand deaths?

Are you willing  to admit just how much you LONG to LOVE

and be–loved.

Not by hundreds of thousands of adoring eyes

That try to trap you in outgrown versions of yourself

But to actually let yourself be seen by a woman through and through

OH MAN

So now that the bar has been raised

the only question that remains

Is if you are man enough to rise

Cause Love

unlike they have told you

does not conquer

It only invites
