It’s both sad & strength when you’ve reached the point where you no longer care what people do, always expecting to be wronged after a lifetime of disappointments. Several will carry regrets of their actions towards you, which you may not discover until much later. What would be more surprising is when someone actually follows through, treats you right, equals your willingness to go above & beyond. Those rare gems are who you should hold onto.
