The day has finally arrived. I’ve longed for this day for 6 years.

You know: You can message someone! On Elephant!
But that’s not all..! You can create groups. Your yoga buddies. Your book club members. Your family. Your better half. While we’re even now making improvements to groups and messaging, please go try to message a few folks, or an author whose article you appreciated (or respectfully disagree with), right now.
Why’s this matter? You can message folks on, you know, text, Facebook Messenger, DMs on Instagram or Twitter. Does the world need more messages? Well, those are all controlled by Big Tech, and profit-driven. So yeah: we need messaging on mindful platforms that care about community and ethics.
Elephant is becoming a hub, a real independent community instead of merely a huge web site dependent on social media and Big Tech to connect us with our own community.
