Utah’s natural beauty
Utah’s natural beauty and magnificent scenery and grandeur. It’s something you can’t feel just by looking at photos, and each park has its own character, some are close together but present a completely different and amazing look. We have chosen a few of the most representative parks that are worth exploring.
Arches National Park
Perhaps you’ve noticed that Utah license plates have signature designs on them. This design is the breathtaking arches of Arches National Park. When you visit this park, the Exquisite Arch is a must-see attraction. In addition to the Double Arch, the North and South Window Areas, Devil’s Garden and other attractions are unique and worth a visit. For the best touring experience, please drive slowly and follow the parking rules. At the start of the Scenic Byway, the viewpoint of La Salle Range provides a stark contrast between the exotic arches and the distant mountain peaks. You can spend half a day at this park and then head to nearby Dead Horse Point State Park, where you can see the red and white sandstone streaks that cut deep into the Colorado River, creating a familiar and unique “gooseneck”.
Canyonlands National Park
This is the largest national park in Utah. The scenery of the canyon is spectacular and there are relatively few visitors. Here you can experience the magic and magnificence of nature. There are the most frequently photographed iconic western landscapes. It has a concentration of landforms such as canyons, arches, rocky peaks, and ruins. The Colorado and Green rivers divide Canyonlands into the Island in the Sky, the Needle Point area, and the Maze area. Each area has its own unique style. Of these three areas, the most accessible is the Sky Island area. The Needle Zone is named after its abundant red rock spires and sandstone fins. On the other hand, the Maze Area can only be reached by 4WD vehicle.
About the nearby accommodation. I would recommend the town of Moab, which is close to all three areas. Immediately northeast of town is Arches National Park and southwest is Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point Park.
