Not-giving-up is our practice.
Not-giving-up on ourselves. Not-giving-up on each other. Not-giving-up on our planet.
Our best friend can be ourselves. When we’re lonely, we can give ourselves good company. When we’re confused, or beset by troubles, we can give ourselves counsel. There’s nothing selfish about this. When we are genuine friends with all of ourselves, then all your friendships and relationships are founded on appreciation…not co-dependency.
We have to remember: life is here, now. Lean in.
