If you’re spiritual and voting for Trump despite his words & actions, you aren’t spiritual—if by spirituality we mean empathetic, honest, caring about others not just ourselves. It’s that simple.

I wrote this on Threads, and it received support. I wrote this on Facebook, and a few MAGA fans came out loud and proud. My thesis:  Trump is literally threatening a long list of people, communities, and our planet, let alone our democracy. Anyone not sounding the bell right now…that’s regrettable, a lost service.

If you’re a spiritual teacher sharing good vibes on Threads, right now, and you’re not showing you care about voting, or encouraging others to do so…your brand of spirituality is about marketing, profits, and head-in-sand positivity. Genuine spirituality is about caring, about showing up, about kindness. Vote! Use your platform to encourage others to do so!
