Taurus Full Supermoon: Recalibrating Safety in Uncertainty. {November 5}

“Whether it’s science or magic, if it’s of fun benefit, enjoy!” ~ ed

The veil thins now.

The ghosts of the past resurface. The wounds of self continue to pull at us, asking us to clear the karmic imprints so we can step forward into the new timeline, freer and more integrated as whole, sovereign beings.

The separation between death and life narrows as we remember we are the bridge between the two. We get this one life, this one moment, this one chance to sew the seeds of a new reality for the future of humanity.

The pressure can feel so intense and super charged as we close out this year of 2025, the year of the snake shedding, molting its skin every month, like the moon cycles waxing and waning from one form of self to the next.

These highly intense energetic times continue to push, prod, initiate, innervate, resuscitate, and recalibrate us. Every day, we are asked to keep meeting the shadow within and without with more presence, unity consciousness, and light. To bring our inner light of awareness to the hidden aspects of self, the parts of self we’ve cast away, tried to sever off and separate ourselves from, only giving more power to the subconscious influence and dominion over us.

This is the energy and invitation of Scorpio and path of power reclamation. The night sea snake dweller, the hidden in the shadows scorpion, the eagle rising back into the light of consciousness, the phoenix burning away all that is hidden and false. The Scorpio season is a dramatic shift from the diplomatic Libra season, although shaded with Scorpionic undertones as Mercury and Mars transited through the depths of Scorpio waters.

Libra season was marked by a Libra new moon on October 21, making a square to both Jupiter and Chiron. An expansion of the wound and the wisdom garnished through continuous, ongoing healing of the wound. Taking us deeper into the past, amplifying our sensitivities and vulnerabilities—especially around and in the realm of relationship with the strong Libra energy here.

Our most formative relationships have facilitated our wounding and the opportunity for healing as well. Our attachment style formed at a time when our nervous system was constantly adjusting to the level and perceived safety of our caregivers to also regulate their own emotions and nervous systems. Many of us didn’t experience true emotional safety, though, so we have been having to learn how to recreate that for ourselves and our own hearts to feel safe to emotionally process the wounds and pains held captive in the heart space.

This Libra new moon and Libra season emphasized a new beginning in the templates of our relational patterns, urging us to recreate the ways in which we connect with others based on reciprocity, equal give-and-take, balance, harmony, and fairness. As we exited the eclipse energies, the new self still oozing from the chrysalis, our relationships become mirrors reflecting our more integrated self or where the wounds are still leading. When we consciously use relationships as a portal for self-healing, they become the key that unlocks the door to the cosmic house of self-realization. We are all so ready for a new way of relating to the feminine and masculine energies, within and outside of us, based on healthier and more balanced, healed templates of wholeness and integration.

The month of October has been initiating us deeper into relational healing, chock-full of Chiron undertones with Jupiter making a continuous square to the wounded healer asteroid. These past few weeks have been flavored with old remnants of painful memories and traumas around rejection, abandonment, feeling cast out, unloved, separate from, and unworthy of love. The wounds of self go deep, into the formative years of our developing psyche, stemming from our born-in family systems.

Jupiter in Cancer brings the past back up, expanding the familial imprints, the scars of familial wounding that have made and shaped us. The fragility and vulnerability we have felt for carrying developmental wounds around our hearts, feeling unsafe and insecure in the world, like our sensitivity was the weakness. Chiron brings the wound and the medicine. But we must first trust the journey into the wound to unearth the medicine from that wound. And that takes great courage. Chiron in Aries reveals where our self-confidence and self-belief severed, where wires got crossed with fear instead and we resurrected a wall between our truest self and the mask we wore out of survival and self-protection.

Chiron in Aries these last few years has been forging us in the Aries alchemical fires to transmute the fractured self back into self assured passion, purpose, and power. Reclaiming our self-belief and self-trust, courage and inner authority, a stable and strong sense of self again or for the first time. It’s been unyielding, challenging, and deeply painful at times to heal the wounds of self. And yet, here we are, making our way through this intense, initiatory time, again and again.

Do you see how brave and brazen you are by now? A true Viking warrior soul, here to leave its mark on the world, by saying, “Feel the fears and charge directly toward them! Take courage and strength brave warrior heart and know that the fears you face become the power you remember and recalibrate deeper into your being.”

We are doing it. Showing up every day to the fires of life. Even in the confusion and disorientation at times. Chiron will continue its last few months in Aries until it finally, but only briefly, shifts into Taurus in June 2026, giving us a sample of those energies but really making its final shift out of Aries in early 2027. Chiron in Taurus will invite and initiate us deeper into healing themes around our values, our self-worth, money, security, safety, and the connection to our resources.

This last month of October has been deep and intense with Pluto stationing direct in Aquarius on October 13. After a few months of underworld travel into the depths of our fears, shadows, and power struggles, Pluto going direct begins the movement of the soul forward again. But for those who maybe didn’t dive as deeply into the shadows and still have some patterning around self-avoidance (hello, don’t we all?), the intensity perhaps got louder here, bringing the fears and shadows up. Pluto is a player for the soul. Lives and dies for the sake of the soul. Kali ma energy to transform the shackles of fear into the wings of flight. Aquarius energy reminds us how deeply interwoven our individual soul journey is to the collective. That we are a part of this inter web, network, mycelium system of energies, one root system of the whole tree. Pluto in Aquarius says, “You don’t have to go at it alone anymore! Lean into your community, your group, your people, your support network around you. By allowing yourself to receive the support of others, the fear and separation energy can alchemize back into innate trust in the collective and power of the soul rising together.” For the next 20 years, Pluto in Aquarius will be shifting the fabric of humanity from the inside out. Here to transform the ways in which we connect with one another. That maybe, just maybe, we can rewrite the story of fear and fracture from each other and mend the core wound of separation.

With the sun entering Scorpio on October 22, the energy of Pluto continues to guide us deeper into the soul journey and path. Scorpio energy is co-ruled by Pluto and Mars. Mars has also been transiting through Scorpio, activating the sense of deep masculine energy from a more emotionally attuned space also. Mars brings the masculine and Scorpio the more fiery feminine waters. Merging of the two reminds us of the alchemical experience and sensual nature of the feminine and masculine dance. The tantra of life. The seductress energy of shiva and shakti desire merging into form and held in sacred containment. The true zest and juice of life. The wildness that guides and enlivens us to merge with self, other, and soul. The Scorpio energy seeks to merge, to know itself as the desire it’s seeking, the sexual energy swirling and churning through all of us, seeking expression. Scorpio season wants it raw and real. It wants to strip us down. Reveal the naked under the masks we wear. Mars in Scorpio asks for depth, rawness, unshakable truth, and intuitively inspired action.

As the veil thins and the season of the spooky approaches, Samhain, witches abound come deeper into their cauldron of magical brew. We see the masks we wear. The performatory ones. The controlling masks of keep-it-all-together. The spiritual ones, especially those. The perfectionist ones. The ones bent on illusion and a false sense of self. How many masks do we wear in a day? Do we have spaces and places where we can unmask and reveal our messy, authentic self? Libra season shined a heavy light on our relationships and how we are showing up to each connection. Scorpio asks: where now do we need to become more real and intimate with the self in order to feel safe to reveal who we truly are? Libra opened the door through other; Scorpio reveals the portal through facing our own shadow within. No more projections onto others will do. We are here to face and excavate the shadows and unseen aspects within the self and bring them to conscious light and awareness. And sometimes, often times, this means, entering the caves we fear to enter. As author and mythologist Joseph Campbell said, “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” So enter we must into the depths of self and soul with this Scorpio season. Bravely facing, loving, and accepting the inner shadows to be alchemized back into light.

The cosmos is leaving its mark on 2025 with a supermoon bang of three’s: three supermoons to end the year. We already had our first in the fiery sign of Aries in October. And now we will be having the second full supermoon in the earthy, grounded sign of Taurus on November 5 at 8:19 a.m. EST and at 13 degrees of the fixed earth sign. Supermoons are intensified full moons, amplifying the energies within and around us. In the sign of Taurus, which is ruled by the planet Venus, our energies soften and deepen into the more feminine qualities of self. Venus energy governs our feminine energy (of which we all have), our money, romance, our values, our self-worth and self-value. Taurus lunar energy here brings our inner illuminated awareness to these facets of life. Taurus energy connects us deeper to our sense of safety, security, our resources, our money, and our sense of stability in our physical reality. Taurus full moon energy illuminates who and what we value, shedding the outdated and no longer soul-aligned energies to recalibrate back to a more soul-led value system.

How safe and secure do we feel to exist in this world? Amidst the collective upheavals and political strife, can we create a sense of safety within the self? Can we meet our needs for care, nourishment, and connection with great devotion? Taurus energy loves the sensual and the creature comforts of life. The warmth of a hearty meal, the sweetness of a hug, the touch of a lover, the pleasure of life. Because what is life truly without the sweetness? Without the pleasure aspect? This is the feminine crux, pillar, and principle of life and in keeping it in sacred balance. Nature knows this deeply. The sweet nectar of a flower or honey of a hive or the juice of a ripened peach. Do we slow down enough to truly taste our own sweetness and the sweetness of this life? Taurus asks for us so slow down. Marinate in the sweetness. Feel the aliveness of our bodies and their senses coming alive again.

Taurus governs the neck and the throat. How rooted, resourced, and connected are we in our self-expression and truth speaking? The throat chakra energy center becomes the focal point. Are we embodying our authentic voice? Or are we withholding some part of self or our energy in fear of judgment or ridicule? Learning to heal and harmonize with our own voice is a journey of self-love and patience. There may still be patterns of fear and self-doubt or self-consciousness as we stumble our way through, but the more we keep showing up to our voice, the stronger of a channel it becomes. This full moon asks us to come into new relationship with our voice and to release the outdated ways in which we withhold, suppress, and repress our authentic self-expression.

Uranus, the planet of liberation and innovation, will be a key player in this full moon, opposing Mars and Mercury both in Sagittarius. A potent tension between the mind seeking new ideas and perspectives and the new adventures calling. Uranus brings the shake-ups and shocks. Sagittarius energy says, “Jump fully into this new adventure calling so you can be free.” We can break free from the stagnant, limiting mind constructs by taking that risk. This full moon brings ample energy to say yes to the new life and adventure calling to us, breaking free from stagnation and limitation. To know and trust we have the Taurus inner stability now to shake sh*t up and live more freely.

Uranus will reenter Taurus shortly after this full moon on November 7 and remain until April 2027 before finally shifting fully into Gemini. Any final changes and system overhauls we still need to make with our resources to improve our sense of stability and security and realign with a truer inner value system is up for review. Uranus in Taurus is here again to help us rewrite and revolutionize our money and finances. To break us free from scarcity and lack thinking. If fear and insecurity around our financial situation have pervaded, we are gifted an opportunity to liberate ourselves now. Money is energy and we get to decide how safe and worthy we feel to embody and receive more energetic support by shifting our nervous system wiring out of fight/freeze into rest/receive. Money wounds and fears go deep and take time and diligence to break free from.

But change is the invitation of Uranus. In fact, Uranus demands it. Taurus would rather things stay status quo. Uranus asks for freedom in uncertainty. Taurus wants comfort in certainty. How to bridge the two and create a symbiotic relationship between parts of self that want freedom and parts of self that crave the known and familiar? Start small. Create one small change in your life and habits. Bring in a sense of newness and freshness. And then feel into the safety that is inherently present through the senses (sight, smell, taste, feel). To know and trust that even in uncertainty, we can root deeper into embodied safety and support.

Venus, the ruler of this moon, will be entering Scorpio the day after the full moon. Venus in Scorpio demands depth, realness, and emotional connection in our closest and most intimate relationships with others. Secrets may loom here and shadows in self and other are activated. Hidden desires may surface for more real, raw, and intimate connections with others. Emotions run deeper and wider here. Are we ready to meet our own inner depths as we meet another’s depth too? As beloved spiritual teacher and author Matt Kahn says, “Despite how open, peaceful, and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you, as deeply as they’ve met themselves.”

On November 9, we will have our final Mercury retrograde of 2025 in the fiery sign of Sagittarius and then Scorpio, a few-week period where our communication goes under review and slows down. A time of the mind going inward. Sagittarius invites us to reflect on our inner fire and sense of adventure spirit. Mercury retrograde brings the slow down to travel plans, but Sagittarius wants to travel, live, and experience life in all its tastes and flavors. Being mindful and intentional with our desires for adventure and exploration of the new and making sure we are aligned in our vision mind, body, heart, and spirit of what we want to create before we create it. How to temper and use the fire to stoke the call for adventure into the wild and not get burned by it either or be too callous and reckless with it. When Mercury shifts back into Scorpio, we reflect on the ways our emotions are being expressed in healthy or unhealthy ways. Where we still need to more honestly communicate our desires and express the depths of who we are. Fiery, pointed truth stirs and churns us through this mercurial portal. On November 11, Jupiter will station retrograde also, in the sign of Cancer, gifting us with a few-month period to strengthen our intuition, to deepen into our emotions and be present with past, familial energies and sensitivities. As we enter the holiday season, this retrograde seems conducive of softer and easeful family gatherings and time together if we stay present and aware of our own emotions.

This full moon in Taurus energy aids in this deep emotional diving. Venus will be square to both Jupiter and Pluto, adding an expansion of our fears in relationship and soul intensity. Our sensitivities will be amplified here in the heart space, in our intimate relationships, and connections with others. Pluto wants to transform our sense of self-value and self-worth. Are we still operating at the lower octaves of self, believing ourselves to be broken, lacking, or deficient? Are we believing and fearing we are too much and feel the need to stifle our innate energy? It’s time to uproot our unworthiness and plant the seeds of truer self-worth, rooted in our power and soul energy. Tend to the wounds of the past self, but know that we have the power to change and transform them too.

Jupiter will be making a supportive trine to Saturn and Neptune, aiding us in the expansion and growth of our soul path and the structures in the 3D reality we are building now to support that. The vision is becoming clearer day by day, step by step, and we are ready to start bringing into fruition and reality our dreams and visions. Neptune says reach for the stars. And Saturn says now make it real. Make it possible, make it doable. Saturn can feel limiting at times, but Jupiter here reminds us that as long as we are rooted in our higher spiritual energy, and sourcing and creating from that abundant space, anything truly can be possible.

This full supermoon brings us back down to earth so we can make our new dreams possible. Taurus energy reminds us to slow down enough to receive our own energy and dreams. Connect with the earth mama. Tend to the land. Bless the fruits we eat. The sustenance that sustains our life force. Bless the aliveness coursing through our veins, letting us know we are still alive and ready to receive more of life. Let this full moon soothe you, comfort you, soften you, stabilize you back into the roots of you. Let the sweetness find you and touch you. Let yourself be touched and romanced by life again. Let the pleasure and juice of life wash over your whole being, cleansing you of any guilt or shame you feel for being alive, in a human body.

Allow this full moon to free and expand your throat chakra. Clear away the blockages toward deeper and truer self-expression. You are so safe to be fully, expressively you! We need your voice fully online. We need the messages only you were meant to speak and communicate, the songs you were meant to write and sing. Let any shyness or stifling or your authentic self be seen with so much tenderness and grace and also bravely say, “You’re safe shy and sensitive spirit. You’re safe to feel all you feel. And come out of hiding now.”

Let the light of the full moon shine on any shadows with so much love and devotion to you, a soul becoming human for just a little while. Sacred. Precious. Life. You. The. Vessel. Of. That. Life. To. Flow. To. Root. Deeper. Into. Love. And. Embodiment. Of. Truth. And. Soul. Purpose. Purpose. To. Be. Alive. Connected. And. Tethered. To. Your. Own. Life. Force. Life. Expressing. Itself. Through. You. As. You. Let. It. Be. Enough. And. Never. Too. Much. Perfectly. Whole. Perfectly. You. Safe. So. Safe. Now. To. Be. More. You. And. Let. Others. Be. More. Too. Cosmic. Children. We. Are. Here. As. Stewards. Of. Earth. Our. Home. Away. From. Home. Become. The. Sanctuary. And. Home. For. You. And. Let. That. Grow. Its. Roots. Wide. You. The Tree. And. The. Root. Of. Life. Aho. Amen. And so it is.
