I’ve waited for countless moments, scaled many mountain passages to arrive here.
I’m still patiently awaiting our reunion.
We’ve danced together before—many times.
Memory only serves for so long but love is eternal.
There is only one signature that makes me feel the way that you do.
Eons may pass before our bodies here in the presence of time can touch once again.
Our fingers will clasp and our lips will quench one another’s long-lost lust for that taste and excitement to surge through our aching bodies one more time.
Everlasting love.
We’ve been cultivating this love affair for many lifetimes, many moons, together and separately, through many battles, victories and losses.
All together and all alone.
I will know you when I see you or hear your voice again—we’ll just know.
You’ll whisper into my ear from afar.
Your eyes will steal mine.
We may have to cross many oceans and journey over many continents to finally find each other.
I will recognize you like we’ve never been apart and have eternally known every pain, every celebration, love and secret—experienced together over the millennia on some deeper level.
But you remain a mystery.
I’ve mistaken you so many times before, and I’m likely to do so again.
Please pray that I have the courage to let you know it’s me again.
I’ll do the same so that I don’t miss you.
Are you ready to explore the deepest regions of one another’s psyche, spirit and heart?
What have we learned in this life that we can share with one another?
I will listen to every last word and story you’ll tell me.
This life has taught me patience—I’ll wait for you.
I’m craving the love lust we’ll have, then, since it will have been pent after spending so much time separately in isolation, reparation and new growth.
Not one day passes that I do not imagine you and what you might look like, now or how much you’ve changed this time around.
I’ve been reminded of the tremendous love within me, stored away that is all the many memories and experiences we’ve shared time and time again.
I’m learning to let it all go.
That maybe the best love is the kind of love we give, not just to one another but to all.
My heart is open and receptive I’ll wait, but my life won’t be on hold—in the meantime, I’ll be living fully.
I will offer you the most love I’ve ever been capable of imagining before now.
We elude one another or maybe we’ve simply yet to realize who the other is but either way I know it reaches you.
My love.
Yours reaches me too.
There’s one particular cavern within my heart that you touched so long ago—longer than all memory has ever allowed.
Your love has been there all along.
You gave it to me selflessly. unconditionally, from that eternal origin. That’s how I know you’re out there somewhere.
Thank you.
I love you, eternally and look forward to holding you in my arms once again.
Godspeed.
