There is vulnerability intertwined with baring it all in public—vulnerability, bravery, and strength, actually. There is a bit of all three.

Spencer Tunick, a photographer, is challenging how we view nudity as a society. He photographs thousands of people at a time, just as they are…naked, no touch-ups. This form of art is not only beautiful but also empowering.

To be naked in front of a camera for millions to see. To let people see the beautiful wrinkles where the skin naturally folds. To show the beauty of the human body—just as it is, nothing changed, scorned, airbrushed, or cursed.

This is vulnerable, brave, and beautiful.

This untarnished image of human anatomy, as Tunick captures it, is true beauty—it is art.

This is authentic. This is human. This is us reconnecting with the wrinkles, rolls, scars, and floppiness that makes us human.
