Giving & Receiving: The Different Ways we can Help.
Dean T. Hurtt is a spiritually grounded world traveler and seasoned marketing professional with a rich tapestry of life experiences. For over seven years, he served as a Product Marketing Manager for Sounds True and Eckhart Tolle Teachings, collaborating on transformative projects with celebrated authors such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chödrön, Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Adyashanti, Seane Corn, Jon Kabat-Zinn, and Marianne Williamson.
A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Dean’s four years of service took him across the globe, including postings in New Jersey, California, Virginia, and South Carolina, as well as two-month voyages through the Caribbean on a 378-foot ship, and a year stationed in the Middle East during the Iraq War.
After his military service, Dean pursued his passion for knowledge at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studied philosophy, journalism, and religious studies. Between his Coast Guard tenure and college, he embarked on transformative solo backpacking journeys, spending a month in Thailand and three months in South America, embracing the unknown with only a backpack and an open heart.
When not writing or exploring, Dean finds solace in nature. He regularly disconnects from technology to walk with his loyal and omnibenevolent dog, Hypatia. Connect with Dean and learn more via his LinkTree here: https://linktr.ee/deanhurtt.
