Plant Medicine – Beyond the Trend of Quick Fix Healing
Julie is a devoted seeker, certified yoga instructor, long time student of Ayurveda, and holistic foods chef who creates high-vibrational meals infused with local ingredients and love. She has been sharing nourishing food, yoga, and heartfelt presence in retreats, for the past 6 years, where her teachings and offerings are naturally weaved together.
Her path of healing began in the aftermath of a difficult divorce, when she turned inward to explore childhood wounds and long-standing patterns that had quietly shaped her life. This period of self-inquiry opened the doorway to the innate, often-dormant healing potential that lives within each of us.
As she deepened into practices of yoga, mantra, meditation, mindful nourishment, and reverence for the present moment, Julie witnessed the profound impact of taking responsibility for her mental, emotional, and physical well-being. These experiences not only supported her own transformation but also inspired her to share what continues to unfold through her studies and lived experience.
Julie believes that although every path is unique, many of us experience similar burdens of the heart and mind in our fast-paced, performance-driven world which is why she feels called to create spaces where people can gather, slow down, witness themselves with compassion, and explore their inner landscapes together.
Her training includes:
* 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga East West, with a focus on Hatha Yoga
* 280-hour Yoga Immersion Training at The Yoga Barn in Bali with Bex Tyrer—Hatha Yoga, Yoga Activism, Yoga & Trauma, and Yoga for Women
* 36-hour Yoga Nidra Training through Open Space Yoga in Honolulu
* 36-hour Ayurveda Training through Open Space Yoga
* 60-hour Ayurveda Yoga Shakti Training through the American Institute of Vedic Studies
* 500-hour Ayurveda Program with the American Institute of Vedic Studies
* Heart of Tantra Immersion Training with Sebastian Valensi of the Modern Mystics School
Julie now blends the wisdom of these traditions with her own lived experience, offering a grounded, heart-centered approach to healing.
