POV: broken hearted in a coffee shop during COVID’s soft opening
C.S. Lewis explains it best: “Writing comes as a result of a very strong impulse, and when it does come, I, for one, must get it out.” Writing has always been a thirst in my life, a necessity born from a need to release and gather, all at once. I am a teacher, dog-mom, and hopeless romantic for all of my days to come. I write about what makes my soul yearn and ache with an intimacy and vulnerability that pours through my fingertips without consciousness.
