Mara Hitner

Originally from New York, Mara Hitner graduated with a BA in Creative Writing For Media from Binghamton University, and studied abroad in the UK while learning to play guitar and write songs. She moved to LA in 1998 to become a rockstar, and had moderate success touring and releasing her original albums on her own label. In 2005, she started an 80s cover band called Mara And The Big Rockstars, and played regularly throughout Southern California. In 2016, she started Hit Me 90s: Tribute to 90s Pop, and had a blast playing clubs, weddings, parties, and concerts in the park.

Mara is currently Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at MatterHackers, helping schools and businesses be successful with 3D printing. She still sings, lives by the beach, goes to all the live concerts and theater, and is leaning more into spiritual practices, meditation, and mindfulness as she explores middlescense.
