Boulder Workshop: “Making the Green Link: Everyday Sustainability” [YRG, Green Collaborative]

I was recently introduced to YRG Sustainability through one of its members, another NYC to Boulder transplant. A delightful gal who I bonded with over pricey Boulder rents seeming like nothing, the best coffee spots in town and of course, all things sustainable. She let me know about an upcoming pilot sustainability workshop put on by one of YRG’s founders, Lauren Yarmuth and Green Collaborative. The five hour workshop, “is designed for anyone and everyone, and delves into key concepts of sustainability, and how we can approach our own lives to make the biggest positive differences in the world around us.”

We know that little changes can have a big impact. I know personally that at times it’s simply hard to know where to start. The workshop aims to help participants slow down and focus on what matters to them, look at our own personal health and habits, and connect with an individual purpose among other things. Led by Lauren along with Sue Cumming-Schultz, this could be just the key to a small breakthrough leading to big change.
