A wise woman once told me if you want something, give it away. Feeling like money is tight and yet have five dollars that you could spare? Share it with someone who needs it, and feel again like you have enough. That’s the idea I was reminded of tonight, while cooking dinner and listening to NPR. There was an interview with the founder of non-profit Modest Needs. The organization links those with financial emergencies with others who are willing to help with small donations. Another way in which seemingly small acts of kindness can have a big impact. Check it out.
